Bardroff Heavy Hauling employs 12 extremely hard-working individuals. This enables us to be flexible and move quickly for new projects. We fabricate our own equipment to work with the task at hand. There are no jobs too big or small. If we don’t already have the equipment you need – we can build it!

Our fleet is based in Kansas, but we travel all over the United States. We take pride in the way our equipment looks and performs. We strive for professionalism on the job site. Some of our show-quality trucks get recognized everywhere we go. It’s not uncommon to see amateur photographers snap a pic or two when we’re on the road.

Bardroff Company History

1950's

Karl Werner Bardroff (Karl Sr.) starts building cars as a teenager in a shop on 5th street in Leavenworth, KS. It burns down a few years later.

1960's

Karl Sr. opens a new body shop in his 20’s. It’s located at 5th and Cheyenne Street; close to the entrance of Fort Leavenworth.

He customizes a 1962 Chevy pickup to pull cars into his body shop. He affixes a one-ton axle underneath the three-quarter ton chassis. It is one of the first 4-wheel drive pickups in the area.

1970's

Karl Sr. moves his body work business to a small milk barn in Easton, KS.

He later builds a brand new shop at 32715 Easton Road – close to Pleasant Ridge High School. The Bardroff business worked out of this location for over 40 years. Karl Sr. lived here until his passing in 2017. (This location is still owned and used today for Bardroff Emergency Services.)

2006

Karl Bardroff II (Karl II) starts Bardroff Heavy Hauling, LLC. The fleet originally consists of a wrecker, a custom Peterbilt, and a Landoll. A new shop is built at 32710 167th Street, which still serves as our primary location.

2006 - 2016

The automotive body work business is discontinued to focus primarily on heavy hauling.

Karl III and Dustin Bardroff join the family business to continue growth.

The business expands into new fields including: Frac Tanks, Wind Farm Equipment, and moving Roll-Off trailers all over the Midwest.

Present Day

We expand to a nationwide service area and continue to challenge ourselves and improve our skill sets.
